Step 3. Camera Positioning

The best position to take the photo is to be at the same level as the subject. Photos pointing down don't look right. If you have the use of a tripod then this is the best solution so that you can take time to position the camera so that the subject or subjects are placed perfectly in the photo. If you do not have a tripod then it is useful to first use the camera to judge where the subject should be and then once you are happy with the stage being set you can get your subject to pose for you in your pre-determined area.
