If you are sending photos it is vital to have a variety of detailed photographs to work from. The quality of the portrait and the detail it shows will be dependent on the photos you send. Step 4. Developing and sending photos

If you are taking your portrait photographs with a film camera then it would be best if you scan the developed photo and then upload the scanned file. If you do not have access to scanning equipment then send us an email enquiry and we can arrange for you to post the photograph for us to scan.

The higher the resolution of the digital image the better as this will allow the artist to zoom in for detailed work - the eyes for instance when zoomed need to be detailed enough that the artist can work from a digital image. If you are taking the portrait photograph with a digital camera then sending high resolution images is better as it will allow the artist to capture the details of the subject.
