If you are sending photos it is vital to have a variety of detailed photographs to work from. The quality of the portrait and the detail it shows will be dependent on the photos you send. Step 5. Digital Enhancement
If you have a photograph that you particularly like the pose or that cannot be retaken but you are unsure if the photograph will be able to be painted as a portrait you can send us the photograph and we maybe able to digitally enhance the photograph or consult with our artists to see if we are able to work with the original photograph. An example of where we are able to digitally enhance a photo would be where are artist is able to change the background of the photo or change the sky from cloudy to a brilliantly clear and sunshiny day.
With pictures that appear dark or the colour is off we may be able to digitally enhance the photo so that it will still make a great portrait photograph. So even if you do have photographs that you love but consider not good enough to work on we may still be able work from the original digital images to provide a digital image good enough to paint a good picture.
